I will be staying in my house in Santa Domenica Talao for the first time in late March. My daughter and family are visiting in the beginning of April. I am looking to hire or buy (second hand) a baby cot for my grandaughter aged 1 year and 1 month. Any info appreciated. maureenb

Hi Maureen,

I dont know of any second hand cots, but they have started selling travel cots in Centre Gross shop above the Spa in Scalea, they are I think 35 euros, which I think is great value.

Hi Melanie,
Has the Centregrosse above Spar in Scalea got back to normal yet?
Last time we were in there it was still in a state of flux whilst they were "re-organising" the place.
Would hope it would be sorted by now.

The store above Scalea Spa is still not completed you can only walk around so far the rest is cornered off.

[Thanks Melanie you have saved my bacon. Let's hope they don't sell out before I get there on March 26th. Maybe a bigger problem is that despite promises my house still does not have any windows. To quote Scarlet O'Hara- I'll worry about that tomorrow. maureen.

Hi there,

we have a travel cot that bought in Scalea last year for our one year old boy , he couldnt take to it so we bought a proper cot in Scalea when we were last there. We have offered to loan it to Lesley and Brian to use ( not for Brian when he is in the bad books before someone replies) I am sure that she will quite happily loan it out for someone in need, if the are not using it.
