Directions:From Scalea take the S18 towards Diamante. DO NOT take the first or second turns to Diamante but continue on the SS18 until you see La Rudere high on the left. Take the right slip road (signposted Diamante Sud) immediately opposite La Rudere: At the bottom of the slip turn right and Sabbia D'oro will be right in front of you.

Type of restaurant: Speciality fish and seafood and pizzas.

Family owned and run. Palmino and Anna Raffa are internationally acclaimed chefs and their restaurant appears in numerous guides including the Michelin guide, Gambero Rosso, the Academy of Italian Cooking and the Osterie D'Italia.
They have many award winning dishes on the menu with the best recommendation being whatever has been freshly caught that day. Their speciality is seafood and fish but they also do wonderful pizzas.

In the summer it is great to sit on the decking listening to the waves lapping and it is a faulous place to watch a summer sunset over the water. They also have a lido on the golden sandy beach so you can spend a whole day there.
