Scalea in early September

Hello,

We are planning on staying in a friends apartment in Scalea for a week in early September, however neither of us drive. I think we are going to fly into Naples but still unsure. Does anyone know the transfer times and costs from varying airports. Also will we be OK exploring the local area on foot?

Hi Guys

Our next door neighbours have just visited our apartment in Scalea for ten days
They flew into naples and came down by train. You can get a bus right outside the airport which goes to the station, its direct & cheap. I had booked their train online & reserved seats, so they were well set up. They were quite happy with no car, but we are in town near the spar shop, with lots of local shops and only a couple of mins from the beach.

i think that next time they would like a car to visit further afield

Early Sept should be a nice time to visit
