getting to know Scalea

Hi,
We start to grow eucalytus near Scalea.
We are Irish and amazed at the complete absence of frost, - perfect for our foliage business.
Lost a lot of plants because of frost in Ireland last year.
I am interested in life in scalea from the perspective of an outsider.
See huge potential in Horticulture,- would like to meet up with people who sre settled in or have good knoweldge of the area.

Theres a few of us here these days Jim, and I'm sure all willing to help. I have an ever growing knowledge of the area (I think) and always happy to help. If you are looking for an allotment(land) I even know where one was for sale last year, in one of the most fertile valleys around here.
