Smile introducing ourselves

Ciao, we are very pleased to find you all and love the photos. We have a house in Praia in the foresta area and very soon our friends will be joining the expat population. Sadly we only manage to come out during school holidays but would love to be able to stay longer. We first came across this wonderful area whilst holidaying in Aquafredda. We had looked all over Italy for a holiday home and fell in love with this area and its wonderful people. Our level of Italian is not good but we have managed to install a kitchen and have found most services that we needed and have to say it has been fun. This summer we will be arriving with all three of our children! though they are aged 24, 20 and 14 and hopefully will be doing things on our small garden. Our town house was a new build and it has been a little by little project but we are winning. Can't wait to return and view that fabulour turquoise sea from our bed, it lifts our hearts. Looking forward to using the forum too.

Smile

Hi to the Till family. Welcome to the scalea forum. Hope you enjoy yourselves in your new holiday home.

We have a place in Maiera, a small village south of Scalea. We will be back in August for two weeks, can't wait.

Welcome to the forum!
I hope you find it useful and maybe you can contribute if you come across any good restaurant/shops/places to visit?
We are an ever expanding little multinational community here on the forum.
Best wishes, Lesley & Brian
