Hi my name is Linda i currently live in London UK i have 5 children and 4 grandchildren, I am coming to Scalea in June as i am interested in buying a property to use as a holiday home and eventually to live in. I usually go abroad without the children now as they are all grown and want to do their own thing. Please let me know if you hear of any bargains i am not rich i am looking for something i can live in straight away maybe between £20.000 to £30.000 my friend and her brother have bought in scalea and they love the place & the people, I have been learning italian so i can just about get by with the language. Dear Linda,

I just joined the forum and saw your message. I have a very nice flat in Scalea which I bought new in 1987, and because my children are older now, I feel the place is under used. I am thinking about selling. The whole building has just been re-furbished, and the flat has living room with kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom room. The beauty is its huge balcony with views to the mountains and the sea. The flat is fully furnished.
