hi from New Zealand

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. My Mother is Italian, from Soveria Manelli in Calabria.

I've never been to Italy sadly but plan to get there some time. I'd love to visit all over but of course Calabria.

The idea of working there appeals to me but is probably unrealistic, especially given the economic conditions as they are right now.

Oh well, looking forward to reading and writing on this forum....

This is my first time in Scalea, my mother has just bought a flat here after looking all along the coast and they really love it! I am here for the summer
and so far i like what im seeing, plenty to do for the children and friendly people!! You should make that trip!
