Claire, we bought our kitchen last year from Arredamenti Arieta. They are on the left side of Corso Mediterraneo as you exit Scalea for the South.Their display tends to focus on quite expensive models, but their budget priced kitchens are the best value around Scalea.
In the same vicinity you will find Casa Si. Their goods are quite expensive, but are of very good quality. The Interspar supermarket in Scalea also has a display of kitchens upstairs.
Outside of Scalea, the Benvenuti Mobili factory in Grisolia has a showroom of kitchens and furniture which extends over three or four floors. And in the Tortora area of Praia a Mare you will find the Nuova 2G furniture and kitchen shop. They have a lovely range of kitchens, at various prices.
I wanted a kitchen that looked clean and decent, without costing the earth, and found that Arredamenti Arrieta provided the best value for money.
Have a good time looking around. I certainly did.
Regards,
Markel

We used benvenuto Mobili. speak to Signor Vito. They were amazing. Went there once to choose and pay the deposit and then came back to South Africa. they did it all so efficiently. Delivered and fitted on the day they said. Organised the time with the builder and when we returned it was there, all functioning with stove, extractor and hob. Just had to buy a tap separately which the plumber fitted when they put the kitchen in. If you need any other electrical we went to a little family run place in via Lauro opposite the newsagents. They were cheaper than Euronics and delivered and fitted for free. have recommended them and other people have used them and said they were really good too.
