which tour operator to book train tickets, again? - Scalea Info Forums

Someone on here kindly told me a great travel agent/tour operator (?) to book train tickets with. It wasn't the TrenItalia site. I think it might have been Engmax but not sure.

Can anyone advise me the best one to use, please (not TrenItalia).

Hi Nicki

I think I may have passed on the details of Welcome to www.italiarail.co.uk the official uk site, we have used this before to book seats & reserve tickets no problem

Nb can only book within 60 days of travel
Tickets arrive within a couple of days
Scalea is known as Santa Domenica / Scalea when searching routes

Although we haven't used it yet, we have found what looks a pretty good website "the man in seat 61" or The Man in Seat Sixty-One.... Full of usefull information. It seems to be easier if you work your route out in segments ie London to Paris, Paris to Rome, Rome to Scalea.
