coming to visit in spring

I came to this site awhile ago and left a message and seems I posted it to myself (computer illiterate). So I"m trying again to see if I can leave a message on the chit chat forum. I would like to buy in Scalea to retire and seems everyone loves Scalea Properties so will check with them. Also am interested in knowing cost of living and how that translates with the US$. I am an acupuncturist and while I know I can't practice in Italy, I also do body work and herbs so am wondering how the Italians are about alternative medicine. My hope would be to work part time. Would love to meet some of you when I come some time in the spring '09. Thanks for any info. Stephanie

I have just bought two properties in Scalea and am hoping to move there full time with my little daughter. Do get in touch when you are coming over and we can maybe meet up for a coffee. Scalea is a lovely town and the people are very friendly. I'm not sure how they are with herbal medicine and alternative therapies but you might find that your work is with the foreign community over there, I'm not sure??
