Default Scalea Properties

What's going on with the website? Has it been hacked/hijacked?

I believe it is in the process of being updated (and translated into other languages?)

Hello, my husband and I are planning to buy a home this summer near Scalea, but first we must find it! Came last year and loved it.

We would like to buy euros; we live in the US and are trying to secure a good rate.

Has anyone used World First? Is it risky? Are there hidden fees? They tell me it is built in to the rate they give. We have never ever wired money and my husband is cautious and has concerns.

Thank you.

MaryAnn and Gordon,

We have been using XETrade and have no complaints. Google them from XETrade.com. They will buy Euros at the current rate at the time you file your request, then charge you another couple cents for their fees. They have a good safe reputation and we know another American couple that uses them. They wire funds into our BNL bank account in Scalea. It takes a little to get started given all the security measures they put you through, but we're satisfied and the customer service (real person on the phone), when we had nervous startup questions, was superb. Just made a deposit to Scalea this morning as a matter of fact.

This is a real good time to get euros for sure. It's our typical luck that when we spent so much in Italy on the restoration project last summer, they were costing $1.59. Where are you folks from?

Good luck,
