Train from to Scalea

Has anyone done the train from Naples to Scalea?
I am looking for help with train times please

We have used the Official Italian Railways Uk Agents Site, see below

Be aware that Scalea is known on the railway system as Scalea-Santa Domenica Talao and putting in just Scalea is often not recognised.

On this site you can check times, and book & reserve seats up to 2months in advance.
For August travel I would advise if possible that you reserve your seat as trains get busy!

The tickets come in the post within a couple of days. You can also see if the train is direct or if you have to change, & the type of train ie regional (slow) or express
You can get a bus outside Naples airport terminal to the station, takes about 15mins cost around 4 euro, taxi quoted my wife and a couple of her pals 50 euro,

Our flight gets into Naples at 18.15 and i see the last train is 19.12 do you think i am going to make it in time?????

I think that`s very very very !!!!! tight, you might get away with it if your flights on time and you have only hand luggage, but often it takes a while to get through passport control. I would check out hotels around the station. Our experience is with mid afternoon flights so train
time was not an issue.

Ps Always a lot of people on the make, at & near the station so be extra vigilant over bags etc
this is not said to frighten you,my wife & I have used the station several times with our two children no problem, but you do need to keep your eyes open.

If my flight arrives at Lamezia at 10am (ryanair permitting), with one checked bag to collect, do you think I can make the 11:03 train to Scalea?
