Question surveys

Could anyone advise on structural surveys in italy for renovation properties, and has anyone been able to cash a travellers cheque in Scalea or nearby, I dont fancy carrying large sums of euros around Naples this autumn but cant find an alternative.

Default Post Office Free Standing Top-up Visa Card

Dear Claire,

The Post Office in the UK offer a Visa Top Up card onto which you can load Euros (or US Dollars or Pounds Sterling)- up to £5,000 in value.

It's totally unconnected with your bank account or credit cards, i.e. it's free standing, but you can use it in any European ATM machine with the Visa symbol it to withdraw Euros.

You can also use it in shops and restaurants and to buy on the internet without having to give any personal details, other than a password, and they will refund the amount remaining on it if it's stolen. There is a change, but it's not more than you would pay for travellers cheques.
