July weather

Well it has been a great July so far!
It has been incredibly hot and on the odd occasion that it has been a little overcast it has still been around 30 degrees.
This afternoon we hit 40 in the shade: Walking into a store with air-con feels like stepping into a fridge and walking back out again feels like stepping into an oven.
So anyone heading across needs to remember the sun lotion!

Hi Lesley,
No need for sun lotion here in Scotland.July has been quite wet so far and the forecast doesn`t look very promising. Can`t wait until Settembre to get back to Scalea and get some heat into these old bones.

Thanks for that little insight Lesley, just feeling yuk here in wet grey gale force weather in Ireland.Much the same as last year here>But all is not lost heading over in 4 weeks I even have the bags packed.(how sad is that)xxFifi

Hi Billy & Fifi,
Good to hear from you - at least you both have the next trip over to look forward to (I remember how that kept me going before we moved over here).
There ìs a lot going on here just now too so it is nice and lively but not TOO busy.
