Hi Chris,
We have used Budget rentals on Via Lauro in Scalea a few times and they have worked out fine.
You can book in advance online or their telephone number is +39-0985-272018 although you're unlikely to get anyone speaking english
They can reserve your car in advance and collect it on arrival or whenever suits.

I know this is an old topic but I'm looking at the drop down menu for rental office's and cannot see the one for Via Lauro in Scalea. Can anyone tell me which one it is please? I'm sure its obvious but need help I'm afraid

I've just checked on the Budget car hire site and Scalea, Via Lauro used to be listed under downtown locations but it would appear that it has been removed. I can only assume that they are no longer franchised to Budget, but if this is the case then it mus have been in the last few days as it did appear on there last week. I know this isn't much help but at least you now know that your not going mad. It may be worth a call or e-mail to budget just to check.

Thanks Andy. I checked and indeed the Scalea station shut down only last week. A shame when this happens for anything (unless they won the euro millions).
