You are very fortunate that you would be on "town gas" as our options are for LPG because we are in a rural location and the cost of LPG is much higher than town gas.
The pipework is all in place already here for our radiators etc and we were quoted around 3000 euros for the boiler and radiators (8 in total) in 2006.
I suspect in an older centro storico property the installation of the pipework would be labour intensive so relatively expensive?
Anyway if you do get some quotes I'm sure we would all be interested to hear how you get on.

Lesley, I think it is your or a relatives appartment I have seen in Centro Storico Scalea, I think it has been beautifully renovated and was wondering if you could give me some advice on costs and where you got the kitchen as it would suit my appartment, kind regards claire x
