EASYJET BRISTOL TO NAPLES WHEN ?

JUST A QUICKIE ALL PLEASE COULD ALL MEMBERS EMAIL EASYJET REQUESTING FLIGHTS TO START AGAIN FROM BRISTOL TO NAPLES . I HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS AND THEY HAVE REPLIED IF ENOUGH PEOPLE KEEP ON CONTACTING THEY MAY THINK OF DOING IT AGAIN THIS WOULD MEAN WE COULD GO TO SCALEA MUCH MORE OFTEN

Hi Cazz - We have done that a couple of times but they didn't seem interested - but will maybe try again. Like I said in the other message (Lamezia avoiding Stanstead) we have been going round the houses trying to find a solution. We've now booked for the next trip going via Venice. We had the choice of B-R-L and then back L-V-B or B-V-L and then back L-V-B but we're doing the first because the second means staying in Venice overnight on the way out and we couldn't do that this time. Think next time we'll try that route though. Anyway, the first route means both the coming and going trips can be done in a day. This means we'll get to L pretty late so if you didn't want to do that then the second route would definitely be better - there is a morning flight V-L if you didn't want the day there. Hope this makes some sense! Will let you know how it goes. It more or less had to be Venice as EasyJet flies there and also there are flights from Lamezia. The flights from Rome to Lazia are OK but there's none at any good time coming back - unless you wanted to leave Scalea at 3 in the morning or something! Haven't looked at the bus or train option as we have to get the car back to the airport but did think of dropping the car off at Rome (picking it up form Lamezia) but it seemed easier to use Lamezia coming back as well. I think the option of flying to Rome is better as I hate flying anyway hate checking in and waiting and all that jargon have done connecting flights before can't be doing it. You can lose your baggage as well can't you!

Its a good option though but very costly .

We are going to either fly to Rome this time like before and get train down or fly to Napoli on a charter from bristol about £190 we normally like to stay a night in Napoli anyway its just far too irrisitable to pass by!

Trains are cheap in Italy but the train from Rome down is quite a few hours if you get the night one like the last one which doesn't give us much time after our easyjet flight comes in.
There is a better train next afternoon and less hours but means paying a night to be in Rome so at the end of it its probably just as cheap to fly the charter to Napoli. Less hours on Train too

Hi Cazz - it was the not staying a night in Rome that made it make a bit more sense expense-wise doing the R-L and L-V flying bits. There's big gaps between the flights so hope it'll be OK(!) Wonder about EasyJet - they're saying they will put it on if demand - but the flights were always full so can't really see why they stopped them. Anyway, worth a try. Just a thought- wonder if trouble is most people go to Naples for all-in holidays for Sorrento and there's not a week-end, short-break market like there is to Rome or Venice (also Pisa I guess - they do there from Bristol but that's no good for Lamezia). Oh well, fingers and everything croseed! Cheers M

Thanks well yes if they get enough demand they may put it on so come on site members please for us for me for all us south westerners who desire to jet off to Napoli and Scalea whenever we want get on to easyjet asking them pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
