Buying in Scalea.

Can anybody recommend a reputable estate agent in Scalea to assist with the purchase of a 2 bed apartment in the area.

Try also Ivan at Agenzia Casabella. We bought through him and he was amazing. Organized everything including codice fiscale and the notary. He also organized a bank account and electricity.

He is very "simpatico" and speaks good English.

I live in Norwich and have been looking to invest in Italy.
Are you renting your property out?
Where abouts do you live in Durban?

Berea. We don't want to rent it out as we are in the process of renovating and when it's finished we plan to spend a lot of time there. Check out Ivan's website Riviera dei Cedro Property Services. He does rentals too. I hope you manage to find something. Keep in touch.

I'd also recommend A&M Immobiiare. They were/are extremely helpful with our real estate dealings.

In any event, I'd go along with Lynn's suggetion of Casabella, keeping in mind that A&M are also very good and speak English. I've seen one of their renovations and the finishes were really of very high quality. Needless to say, Dave&Tony would also see you through all the stpes, every bit of the way.
