Default Calabria on TV (new?)

For those of us not lucky enough to be in Italy at the moment, Channel 4 are very kindly airing a (new?) 'Place in the Sun' program today 31/12 at 17.25 focusing on property under 100k in Calabria. It may or may not feature the Scalea area, but being stuck in the UK I will get my Italian fix anyway I can.

Wishing everyone a Happy & Healthy New Year

Andy

Cheers All,
Enjoyed the program on Channel 4 last night even though the properties shown were all South of Lamezia---Briatico marina and Pizzo.There were some nice views of Tropea as well. Made me think of all you lucky people at the Hogmanay Party which I am sure was a great success. All the best to Everyone for 2008.
Billy and Sheila.

OOOhhhh.
Did anyone record it? Would love to have seen it.
Might it be repeated? Does anyone know if I could watch it online anywhere?

We missed the programme and only have the freeview channels at the moment, so I looked at the Channel 4, A Place in the Sun part of the website but could only find info. on the programme in the Tropea area, mentioned earlier on the forum. However, I did find a reference to a future showing of one of the Place in the Sun programmes of the Tyrrhenian Coast, to be aired on the Discovery Home and Health Channel on February 11th, if anyone's interested in recording it. Don't know if it's the programme you're talking about but here's the link to the DigiGuide website:

http://library.digiguide.com/lib/episode/422263

It will probably come up on Channel 4 or More 4 again sometime but I'd be interested to know if this is the right programme.

Regards,
Frances.

Hi all;

If anyone manages to record it, please gimme a shout: I don't get Sky and other UK stations down here, though I suspect Lynn may be getting some by sat.

ciao
