Hi ,Just trying to figure out the titles we have as members.What does frequent flyer mean and established member?Does it depend on when you joined or how many posts you put up on site ? And lastly ,what does the stars mean ? Cool

Hi Cool,
I believe the titles are related to number of posts as are the number of stars.

Newbie 1
Established member 15
Frequent flyer 50
Calabria Expert 150
Capo 500

There's also a Club Member status that I think confers maximum stars

Thanks for the info ,but do you know why a frequent flyer would not be a club member.I am just a little concerned that if there is a tightning up with membership as have been indicated of late,that this would effect my membership in the future.Thank you again for the info and Happy Crimbo to you and Brian,,,,Cool and Gang

Hi Cool,
Apologies, I think I have confused the issues here.
We used to have an open forum and a "club" one.
When the move was made last year to accommodate the fact that the site didn't display correctly on Internet Explorer 7 this distinction may have been lost in the transfer. (But I'm still special and classed as a club member ).
The forum is completely open to anyone who wants to join and always will be - the approval process for new members is solely an anti spam measure to save us from being inundated with junk post of an unsavoury nature.
Let me know if this answer has confused matters even more - hope not!

Hi Leslie ,,The matter is now clear to me.I was concerned because I depend so much on the info we get on the site.It really is invaluable to us .As you know ,we only have the house a year and it saves so much time when you can ask everything in english .So keep up the great work ,it really is appreciated.Thanks again Cool

So pleased I have managed to assuage your fears .
Had a fantastic time in Santa Maria last night with Rita & Peter (didn't even make it home).
I think it warrants a post of its own so when I get a mo I will attempt to describe it.
(It was Festa di Santa Lucia and the band's home-made instruments were amazing!)
