Default Books!

Hi all,
I’d like to introduce you all to Bookcrossing.
It’s a free, fun way to find and read and release books and I’ve been building up a library of various titles right here.
So far I have had donations from friends and family who have come to see us and left behind the books they have finished reading and I’ve picked some up myself whilst others have been sent to me by fellow Bookcrossers.
If you are looking for some reading material whilst you are here, take a look at my bookshelf before you come over.
If you like the look of any I have listed as available (and that are in my possession) just let me know. I can reserve them for you and get them to you when you are here.
AND if you have any books lying around here and would like to donate them I’d be very happy to take them from you and register them for others to read and then pass on.
Or you could join Bookcrossing too and register them yourself!

Please take a look and see what it is all about – here’s a link!

Books just wanna be FREE! See what I mean at:
BookCrossing - The World's Biggest Free Book Club - Catch and Release Used Books

If you want to go directly to my bookshelf try this link:

See the books I've set free at:
BookCrossing - the iwanttobeinital bookshelf
Best wishes, Lesley

Thanks Sue!
So far I've got quite a few Mysteries & Thrillers (Brian's cup of tea) and some "chick lit" (good for on the beach or the terrace) and some Travel & Humour etc.
Hopefully we will have an interesting, eclectic collection to pass about if we get a few diverse contributors.
Thanks also to Caroline (Car&Se) for reminding me about books last Saturday night 8-))

Tess Gerittsen was recommended to Brian by Keeley (Tess is a pretty gruesome crime writer) and I discovered Jodi Picoult and Sarah Dunant through Bookcrossing. (Having a look at other friends' bookshelves is interesting and can introduce authors you haven't heard of or tried before).
Although I'm expecting most of the books will stay here to be passed around some of the books I've already read have been all around the world so far - just look where this one has been...

Love Lesley (everything fab here as usual!)

Hi Lesley et al, i have organised my reading material for my Christmas visit. The Dark by John McGahern, The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory, another Phillipa Gregory, The Cement Garden By Ian McEwan. I already have Anne Enrights The Gathering in the apartment and the Memory Keepers Daughter. Once I have finished them anyone can have them. I don't keep books.

The news about Sergio in La Playa is very sad.

Hi Caroline,
I've just recently read Philippa Gregory's Earthly Joys and would love to read some of her other books.
I was registering another dozen books that May has passed on to me when I saw your book message - spooky!

We were at the funeral on Friday (along with thousands of others). A very sombre day indeed. 8-((

See you soon, Lesley
