Default Blowing a gale!

Well I don't know who has brought this weather with them but it is blowing a gale here today (and it also was last night)!
Roy are you responsible???

(temperature down to 19.5 degrees! but feels cooler due to the wind chill factor)

Lesley

Hi Alyson & George!
Sorry to be bringer of bad tidings.
Even though the weather isn't great today it doesn't mean it won't be fab again come Wednesday
It can change very quickly, so dont fear.
(It is now reading 15.7 degrees outside!)
Poor Cool is over now for just a couple of days and I just hope it perks up before he has to leave....

Give us a shout when you are over,
TTFN Lesley

Oh dear, it's gone from bad to worse... rain along with the wind and some lightning too.......
Mel and Dave have been to see the snow near Mormanno this afternoon!
They've got some photos so I hope they have time to post them for us all to see.
No snow here though!!!!
Lesley

Alyson,
Don't panic! I wouldn't have thought you would need snow chains. The snow mentioned yesterday was only an inch or so and quite probably will have already melted. Also the forecast for Wednesday is that it will be warmer. We have only encountered snow once (on our way to Rome in November 2005) and it was that wet stuff that doesn't really lie. It started at Lagonegro and continued for a little way along the motorway but wasn't a problem at all. I think it is just the altitude at that part of the journey that can turn a bit of rain into snow.
The other thing I remember about that trip was brilliant sunshine at either end!
See you soon, Lesley

Hi Alyson

I did the trip from Rome a couple of weeks ago, whilst the roadworks are still there, things have moved on quite a bit and its nothing like as bad as it was.
We travel later today, and the weather should be about 14C
We will be in town till the 30th so please look us up, we are in the centre of town very near the Spar, Parco Centro Marina at 159 Via Lauro

Ivan at Casabella Estate Agents is right at the entrance to the park, ask for John Maxwell We are Flat 3, 1st floor, in Block Scala B

Ps Josephine is from Glasgow!!

Best wishes
John
