socket timers

I know that this is possibly one of the strangest questions ever posed on this forum and is certainly one for Lesley to investigate if no-one knows that answer.
Does anyone know if you can buy timer plugs in Scalea, we have had to buy a dehumidifier for the bottom floor bedroom of our house in centro Storico as it gets a little damp, this means that we have to leave it on when we are away from the house, the dehumidifier has a constant setting on it so that it only works when the room has too much condensation/damp in the air, however I thought that I could also set it on a timer to only run at night when the room will be colder and therefore more at risk of damp in the winter saving me a fortune on electricity bills. :shock:

My wife thinks I am a geek for putting this on but I think that anything to save a bit of cash is worthwhile. :lol:

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Paul,
I have just the thing you are after (picked two up in Ikea Naples last year but have never used them).
We are in the Uk just now but can let you have a timer when we get back home to Italy.
