You might like to know that there is an Autolinee Romano (another bus company) bus from Lamezia Airport at 11:00am which arrives in Cosenza at 12:05pm, just in time to catch the 12:15pm Cosenza-Scalea bus. The whole journey takes about 3 hours but goes over the Apennines all the way with spectacular views. The fare is 4 Euros per bus.
Unfortunately you can not do it the other way to catch the 10:30am RyanAir flight back to London as the first Cosenza-Lamezia Airport bus is at 5:20, getting in at 6:20, which is far too early for the first Scalea-Cosenza bus. In case you are interested the Autolinee Romano link is:
