Hope your trip is successful & you find what your looking for.............Alyson & George

Default Scalea and surrounding area

Hi Alyson and George,
I've just returned from another 2 weeks in Scalea and I was wondering what you thought of the place and whether you saw any property you might be interested in. I'm sorry I didn't manage to catch up with you on your short visit. The same goes for Roy and Mary----Do you have a silver car with a British Registration? If so, I saw the car but not the occupants. My wife Sheila and myself had a wander round the Parco Roma area and it really is a nice part of town. I can't wait until the end of May when we return to Scalea with our son for another 2 weeks holiday.

Hi Billy and Shelia,
Glad you liked Parco Roma , at the rear of the development a swimming pool and a small shopping arcade is still to be built ---soon !!!
The silver car you mentioned was most probably our friends car, Dave and Phil who now live their permanent.
We also return at the end of May, so hopefully we can meet up then.
I see the weathers warming up nicely.

Default Very interested

Hi

I am also very interested in this area... I love the look of the properties, how far would it be to walk to the beach? Do you think the price is fair and how does the purchase work, is there a large deposit?

Also how long does it talk to drive from the UK?

Thanks

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
Most of these matters are dealt with somewhere right here on the forum - however, to save time and to get direct answers to your questions, you need to send an email to David Thorpe using the Contact Us feature on the website. He will be able to help you with just about anything you need to know.
Happy hunting!
Kind regards,
Frances.

Hi Jonathan

re driving, we take 2 days hard driving with a overnight stop in Chambery, this is 2 x 12hr days The main reason we have driven is that we have taken stuff over. I look forward to doing the trip when we have more time over say 4/5 days which I think would be good fun

I have flights booked later in the year £146 for the four of us. No contest !!!

Best Wishes
John & family
