Default Flights to Naples

Just had a message from Easyjet to say that they will be flying from Bristol to Naples as from May next year - Prices look pretty good at the moment.

Default Easyjet flights

They are also flying two days a week from Edinburgh to Naples which should be a bonus to those from the more northerly reaches

Good news about the Easyjet Edinburgh to Naples flights which begin on 18th April next year. Unfortunately, I think that these flights end in September so, I will have to use the Ryanair Edinburgh to Rome flight once more for any holiday during and after September. Would be great for us Scots if Easyjet could be coaxed to extend the September deadline.
Billy.

Default Flight to Naples

Hi
I have just booked my flight from Edinburgh to Naples for May next year. I am just happy that they have at least listened and put some flights on from Scotland but I agree Billy it would be great if it was extendedto end of October.
Best wishes
Linda

Thumbs up

Hi Linda,
I haven't booked any flights yet for next year although I am thinking about the 20th May flight---so could possibly be in Scalea around the same time as yourself. I prefer a direct flight rather than the Edinburgh to Stansted to Lamezia flight which very often means a night's stay in a Hotel at Stansted with a very early flight in the morning which all adds to the cost of the holiday.
Cheers, Billy.

Hi Doug,
Could it be that your Edinburgh friend travelled first to Liverpool or London[Stansted] and then on to Naples. As far as I know the Easyjet Edinburgh to Naples flights don't begin until !8th April 2012.
Ciao, Billy.

Hi Billy
I have booked from 6-13 May so if you are about at that time it would be great to meet you.
If not I will post a thread on my return to let you know how the flight was.
Cheers
Linda

Hi Linda,
I've booked the outward flight on 14th May returning on 1st July---6 weeks. It will be a new experience for me by using Naples airport for the first time. I normally hire a car so I hope that driving out and back to the airport wont prove too difficult, especially for the return flight---I wouldn't like to take a wrong turn and arrive too late at the airport for the flight. However it's a long time away and I'm sure there are many members on the site who will give good advice on the best route back to the airport.
Cheers for now, Billy.

I see that Easyjet have now extended the Edinburgh/Naples flights until the 24th October next year----good news for us in the North of Britain.
Cheers, Billy.

Default Flying to Lamezia

Having looked at flights for June and September I have been pleased to find that I can dump Ryanair and fly Alitalia for less money!!
Flights are from Heathrow with a connection in either Milan (Linate) or Rome
and the price for the flights we chose worked out to £120 a head return (this also includes hold luggage in the price). Depending on the connection the travelling time is between 5 and 6 hours total. If Heathrow is more convenient for you than Stansted then it is a really good option. Don't try and book the legs separately though because it will cost you a fortune.
Hope this helps.

Thumbs up Flying to Lamezia

Thanks for that; good news, as the RA flights are getting silly now. Heathrow for us means being able to use public transport to get to the airport which is much less stressful.
