 Warning To Drivers
Just a quick note to say that as well as random stops for document checks, the police are now doing random breath tests.
This is both during the day and in the evening.
I was stopped and tested last night at Santa Maria del Cedro and my daughter was stopped and tested in Belvedere Marittimo last Monday night.
Another friend had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago during the day but I am not sure where that took place.
I am not sure what the legal limit is here compared to the UK or other countries but I am now not drinking at all when I am designated driver.
Better to be safe than sorry!
