Damn; really like strolling down there for the 'daily' or, if feeling particularly carniverous, the meat starter platter.

La Veranda Restaurant @ Hotel Felix Scalea (ex Da Antonia @ Santa Domenica) is open everyday both lunch and dinner! real organic food, Calabrian and Campanian typical specialities; as various antipasti, fish, meat, veg, etc. and the list goes on! so come over to see the place and the menu as well while Massimo will prepare for you a nice espresso if you like it!

Shame - Got very excited there for a moment thinking they had re-opened in SDT. They will be sadly missed there. It was a great asset to the town especially in winter. Mind you the move is very understandable. Almost impossible to do business there off season I would imagine. Either way we will have to check out their new restaurant in Scalea. Looking forward to that. Thanks for the info !
