Another spot worth a wander around.
The Centro Storico is very pretty (some of the houses have been very well restored) and when we were wandering there was a service going on in the church (doors were wide open and we could hear the singing, surprisingly strong considering the numbers in the congregation).
There was a lovely shop selling interesting lamps and ornaments etc. and a number of bars and restaurants.
There is a really old fresco (of St Francis I believe) that was uncovered in the bar in the piazza and which now holds pride of place.
Also there is a panoramic viewpoint where you can see along the coast towards Palinuro, backwards to Centro Storico and the mountains behind and down to the beach and lidos.
Fantastic views as the viewpoint is high on the cliffside above the bays and beaches.
