 Hiking Sunday 2 Oct - Orsomarso area
Hi,
For anyone with interest, we're going to take an exploratory hike on a trail that goes uphill from the road along Fiume Argentino. Trail appears to be intermediate level - fairly steady climb but not too steep. We have not tried - hence, the "exploratory" If you are the explorer type, come on along.
We will meet people at 10:00 this Sunday just below Orsomarso where there's a large restaurant across the river. We're going to take snack food and water and look at possibly hitting the restaurant for lunch around 2:00. Not a real long hike since many of us are not terribly fit after a sedentary August. We can always turn around too if it becomes brutta. We're hoping to get up out of the riparian zone of the river and maybe find more sparse vegetation and views more abundant.
