Smile Meeting Up
Hello

I will be in Scalea from 15th - 23 September if there is anyone about who fancies meeting up for a beer and a chat.

Hi
Yes, we are there from the 14th Sept. to 11 Oct so would love to meet up. Will give you contact details via a PM and we can possibly arrange something in advance.

Also does anyone want to swap some paperbacks. We have a mountain of them which we never take back to the UK.

Hi

We are in Scalea from the 16th so would love to meet you at a bar for a drink. Do you have any preference? We normally find that bar Pier is central and has easy and free parking.

We've just bought a place in Maiera and were wondering if there is a local source of english books - perhaps that would be you?

We are next out in November so would be interested in taking some off your hands. We can't swop yet as we don't have any!

We have loads of books available to anyone who would like them.
We aim to keep them circulating so are happy to try to keep them moving and are happy to receive any that folk are finished with.
Anne, do you have a specific genre you like to read and I'll keep some by for you to swap with us?

Hi to all
As it seems there will be people around next week shall we suggest Bar Pier on Friday 17th at 4pm? Will be happy to meet anyone who is around.

As for the books Lesley I like family sagas and easy reading, Tony likes something a bit more meaty like crimes etc. Will be happy to bring some along for your collection if you want them.

We are there mid Sept to mid October and then again in December.

We will arrive, D V, on the evening of Sep 17 - with daughter, son-in-law and new grand-daughter. Obviously, we won't be in the Pier Bar at 16.00 - but do let us know if any other rendez-vous are arranged. It's pleasant to meet for a chat in English from time to time!

Hi
To those meeting at Pier Bar Friday 17th at 4 pm.

It seems that this bar is closed at the moment. Not sure if you will get this message before Friday so suggest we meet there anyway and just pop to the bar just along the road (in the opposite direction to Spar). If you do get this note then drop a reply so we know you've read it.

Many places are closed now and then after August. but I'm confident Pier Bar would be open again venerdi'. See you all there. Doug

Hi to all
As it seems there will be lots of you around over the next few weeks can I suggest you all put your dates on the member's calendar and we can then see where the overlaps are and arrange a get together. It saves having to read each separate message each time.

It was good to meet with everyone today. Seems I have been nominated to ?"arrange" another get together. Was suggested that we meet at Il Corsaro at 8pm on Wednesday 22nd for a pizza. Let us know if you are likely to make it. See you there
