driving down to Scalia - Scalea Info Forums

:arrow:Hello All. We are driving down to Scalea soon and have to fly into Rome .When we get near Scalea after Salerno ,where do we turn off ? Should we continue along the A3 motorway until around Mormanno and get a cut off there or leave earlier and come down the coast.Any help would be great....Cool

Hi,

Please ensure that you get off the A3 at Lagonegro Nord, this is a turning before Mormano.

If you got off at Mormano you would add at least 1 hour. It may look a nice drive, but believe me it isnt.

We'd agree with Melanie, DON'T get off at Mormano it'll take forever - we know, we've done it...in the dark. It was bad!!

Hi Everyone ,,The drive down took about four and a half hours with no problems.There is a new section of road being built south of Naples and things slow right down.Other than that very straight forward ,Cool
