Mobile Broadband reception - Scalea Info Forums

Hi,

I have an apartment in La Bussola and need to know if you can get access to the internet using an Italian mobile broadband card. These cost about 20 Euro, but I am worried that I might not get a signal as we are quite high up.

We use the TIM Alice mobile broadband dongle at Condominio Adely (by the water park) and our friends on Parco Roma use the same. Reception and connection for us has always been good.

We too are using the TIM Alice setup and find it works inside thick stone walls in Santa Domenica, down in Scalea, out in Grisolia and of course in Roma. Unless something remarkable comes along, we'll stay with this system once living there fulltime as well. Just don't turn in on in some other country, like the US, or you'll return to the phone shop to maybe find E90 roaming charges waiting for you!! DJ
