Hi all

Where do I start? The pool was fantastic. The gardens are looking great with the ground covering plants thriving and smothering any weeds. All paved areas were clear of weeds. Satellite dishes are up and running, a digital box costs around 50 euros. Steve came over and watched a football match with me.

Bob and Pat were great company, as usual, and the later arrival of Steve and Heather completed a good holiday. Pietro finished on Friday 9th. The pool remained clean until I left on the 16th, filter and pumps on but it didn't need any further cleaning or addition of chemicals. They must have the routine sorted now. I will post some photos when I get the time.

Ciao

John

Hi Kevin and Jayne

Hope you have a good trip. What airports are you using?

The road from Naples to Lagonegro are showing signs of improvement. The tricky section before Lagonegro needs a lot of work on the bridges and tunnels.

Our complex is looking very good. I can't see Pino doing anything with the bottom car park, in the near future, but it doesn't appear to be much of a problem.

Bon viaggio.

Hi John

Arrived back home on Thursday. Weather improved after you left, daytime temps in the high 20's,even reached 32 one day and warm evenings.

Pool was still running when we left, although not being maintained. Luigi arranged for the wiring for our Satellite decoder, and brought along a decoder the same as yours, we can now watch Italian TV, and those stupid game shows, helps learn the language though!!

We went home from Naples Airport, much better than traveling up to Rome, no hassle whatsoever, apart from the torrential rain on the A16, approaching Naples.

Hopefully back out there in early Feb, see you soon

Ciao

Steve

Hi Steve and Heather

Good news that the weather improved. Did you both use the poo,l after we left, or was the water too cold. It was a real bonus to see you both out there. Sorry we won't be able to get out there in February. But I am sure we'll see you out there next year.

Luigi is a gem. Got you sorted out then. Now you will have to get Italian tele back at home and enjoy Linea verde and Linea blu. Two very interesting programmes that should help your Italian and your knowlege of the culture. I am sat at my computer and am watching a programme, on RAI 3, about birds of prey in Italy. Some beautiful scenery and the delivery is of a decent pace for understanding. You can use the text page 777 for Italian subtitles and 778 for english subtitles, when available.

Ciao

Just got back yesterday, even had a go in the pool on Sunday, didn't stay in long, brrrrrrr despite the temp outside, had a great trip with some friends even the gate didn't stick, had the satellite sorted got "bbc world" and "cnn" but no "rai due" We wanted "deal or no Deal "in italian got 400 other channels though it would be interesting to see which satellite you are picking up we did not have enough strength to tune Hotbird so the direction might need tweaking.
Great trip to Naples it was at 3am

I used to have a link to several Rai channels (TV and Radio) on the net but I lost it from my favourites.

Can you explain how and where you get to watch all the things listed below?

Many thanks,
Mrs T
