Red face Sking in Calabria

Hiya Claire
Found out a little bit of information. Skiing in the Sila Mountains - About 1 and a half hours drive from Scalea are Calabria's main Ski resorts. These are in the Sila Grande which is near Cosenza (travel south on the SS18 from Scalea and follow signs for Cosenza. Then take the road into the mountains. The 3 resorts are: Camigliatello Silano 1400m, Lorica 1350-1920, Ciricilla 1400-1500m. If you search bed and breakfast Camigliatello Silano there is some information there and also search Circilla and there is some more information.

Sorry could not be of any more help

Cheers
Maisy

And if you head in the opposite direction into Basilicata, Mount Sirino will be the nearest resort.
(About an hour from Scalea according to Google maps).
