Smile White emulsion

Hello.
I too am hoping to give my flat a fresh coat of white emulsion. I do not drive when I am in Scalea so am wondering if there is anywhere in Scalea to buy.

Thank you.
Linda

Hi
Yes, there is a place cheaper than the supermarkets and hardware stores in Scalea but at the moment, after a couple of glasses of wine, we can't remember the name. We will check it out for your while we are here. It looks like a little lock up garage and is on the left as you leave Scalea heading for S. Dom. Talao on the road behind the railway on the opposite side from the station. We purchased some exterior paint from them and they added the 'anti-muffa' (anti mould) for us.

It is called Splendor on Via Piano Lettieri?
We called in there and they had a lovely showroom upstairs with examples of paint effects etc.
We were actually looking for damp treatment rather than paint (which they didn't sell) so I don't know what they charged for paint.
Can you remember the cost of a tin?

We usually buy ours from a little shop just before Belvedere and pay about 30 euros for 14 litres of white paint.

When you come out the front exit of Spar, turn right, and three or four doors down there is a hardware shop. They stock a small range of paints, both interior and exterior. It seems to be owned by a family - not a word of English between them, but very pleasant and helpful people.
By the way does anybody know what is the Italian equivalent of satinwood paint? Our windows and doors have a nice satin finish - we repainted some of them, but the paint is a tad too glossy for my taste.
Does the anti-mould need to be added to all external paints, or just to emulsions?
Thanks,
Markel
