Transportation to and from Lamezia Airport‏

Hi,

I will be visiting family in Scigliano and arriving at Lamezia Airport. I want to know if there are trains or buses that will travel from the airport to, (or close to) Scigliano. Also, do you know what the approximate cost will be? I am visiting family but they don't have a car. They would ask the neighbour to pick me up but he's expensive - 83 euros which I think is a lot (and this was almost 5 years ago!). My mom was visiting and she filled up his gas tank and it's only a 40 minute drive! Anyways, if I can save some money and take the train (or ride a donkey), then I will. lol.

I checked out trenitalia website but I can't figure it out. I clicked on timetable expecting to see a schedule of trains to and from certain destinations but it doesn't show anything.

What can I do? Are there trains and/or buses that I can take to Scigliano or a town nearby?

I haven't booked my flight ticket yet b/c I want to figure out where I will be arriving and departing from. I am looking at August 10/11 until the beginning of November. I will be traveling around Italy & France. I wanted to start and end my trip at my grandmother's but seeing how challenging it is to get the train to Scigliano, I may have to reconsider.

I can't see a train or bus service to Scigliano (which is not to say there isn't one though! just that I can't find it by the usual means).
Here's a link to a taxi firm that is based at the airport.
It might be worth emailing and asking what they would charge (there is a page with example fares which also might give you some idea).

Or how about emailing the comune and asking them the best way to get there? Part of their website is in English and they encourage contact:
