Does anyone know where I can find a list of events that may be taking place in Scalea or nearby in July please?

Last year I picked up a leaflet of summer events but I haven't seen one for this year as yet.
When I do I will post the info here.
In the meantime here's a note of some of the Religious Festivals and Sagre in the area:

July 2nd feast of the Madonna delle Grazie in Belvedere Marittimo and Verbicaro

July 16th feast of the Madonna del Carmine in Maiera' and Scalea

Last week of July festival of peasant cheese in Aieta

August 7th to 9th festival of the wild boar in Grisolia

August 12th festival of prosciutto in Aieta

August 13th to 18th feast of patron saint Madonna delle Grotte in Praia a Mare

August 14th Madonna of the Flowers with watermelon festival at night on the beach in Cirella

August 16th feast of San Rocco in Grisolia

August 18th Marcellina Folk Festival in Santa Maria del Cedro

Hi Lesley:

I was in old Scalea last week and stopped in the Information Office which is now next to the Tari Restaurant. They have a list of all the Scalea events on a large poster. The staff in the office are extremely helpful.
