internet?

Can anyone tell us if there are internet cafes in Scalea or Praia? My husband used to take his dongle when the '3' network were good.not so good now I read the post about mobile phones but it could have been written in Swahili ( or Italian ) for all I understood it If anyone has any suggestions as best way of accessing internet or using mobiles we would appreciate it Thanks

There is one down one of the side streets opposite the main benetton shop in Scalea you pay 3 euros for one hour and need to take your passport to register, i cant remember the name off hand but the bennetton staff will give you directions if needed kind regards

There are about 5 altogether in Scalea but the main ones are Future Net and the PC shop on the road from the station to town by a cluster of shops opposite the laundrette I think.

However 3 is good actually in Scalea but you really need to get an italian Sim Card. In the end I opted for a 19Euro / month for 300 hours. In the end it worked out much cheaper than using my UK 3 card or Telecom Italia with a fixed line.
