Buona Pasqua tutti. Or as my Italian Neighbour greeted me, last Easter, "Happy Christmas." I think that is all the English he knows, bless him.

It's now Easter Monday, so maybe the greeting is now "Buona Pasguetta" - I heard two San Nicolese locals exchanging that one anyway, so it obviously means something faintly relevant.

For the record, the weather is very poor here - stormy rain last night and lots more today. Yesterday morning's annual outdoor Easter Sunday Mass in Parco Rocca dei Principi almost didn't happen because of hight winds. In the event a resident very generously stepped in and offered the use of a spacious patio - so, wind and all, it went ahead.

Mind you, Easter Saturday was a truly beautiful day - so it's not all bad.

And the forecast was for more rain today but we have woken to a lovely sunny day.
