Just browsed your facebook homepage and have viewed your photographs. Especially the photos of what was left of the car after the accident. I must have been a serious collision. I am glad that you are both well. The new car looks good an expense you no doubt would have prefered not to have had.

Hi John,
Yes the old car was a mess & it has now been crushed but as crashes go it probably wasn't that bad.
We are just thankful that we walked away from it.
I'll post some pics here for anyone who might be interested in seeing it.
And, as you say, buying another car wasn't what we had budgeted for this year as we'd just had new windows and shutters fitted.
Never mind, can't be helped....the old boy reckons his last accident was in 1957 so I guess he was due another one?

1957, he must have benn driving a horse and cart. What did he do, bump into some straying sheep? Oh sorry its us Welshmen who are supposed to go around bumping into sheep isn't it?
