Hi Melanie,

England to Southern Italy - what a great drive! Done it a few times now and never get bored of the journey, especially Switzerland - fantastic scenery. Only problem we've ever encountered was running over an already dead deer somewhere in France in the middle of the night - oops!

sounds great driving there the 700 euro for the journey to scalea was that for 2 people or per person??

Some info and costings regarding our drive from Belvedere Marittimo to Cumbria at the beginning of July.

Additional costs to bear in mind are hotels (we had 2 stopovers) and ferry or tunnel across the Channel.

Distance – 2866 Kilometers

Fuel Cost - 273.95 Euros

Fuel Used – 199.48 Litres

Tolls – 83.60 Euros (45.50 in Italy and 38.10 in France)
