Just a bit more info concerning the water park;

The adult price is now 1 euro more expensive (but still worth the money). We went yesterday and our grandson who is under 105cm got in free. However they also allowed our grandaughter to get in free as she is under 125cm and entered with 2 paying adults.

For those arriving at Praja by train. If you make your way down to the beach there is a road train which runs approx. every 20 minutes up to the water park(you may have to waive it down). You need to keep your entry ticket and show it for the return journey to use the service for free, otherwise it costs 4 euro return. The waterpark is very compact so everything is easy to find and there are plenty of sunbeds etc. all over the place. There are pools/slides etc. suitable for all ages and I would definitely recommend it for those with children (and the young at heart).
There is a train from Scalea at 10.28 costing 1 euro 40 each way for adults (1/2 price for children) which takes less than 10 minutes, and return trains at 6.15 and 7.35.
