While the market value of apartments in the Scalea area is low relative to this part of the world, does anybody know if the rebuilding costs are similar to the market value?
I am investigating insurance at the moment and would like information on the following -
1. Do the condominium fees we pay usually include insurance cover for buildings, or does it simply differ from complex to complex ?
2. If insurance cover is included, is there any point in taking out a private insurance policy? Surely insurance companies will not pay out twice on the same policy.
Due to paycuts and income levies here in ROI, I am trying to implement some cost-cutting measures of my own! While I have no wish to insure on the double, I don't want to take any risks either - so any information would be very much appreciated.
