1 - Gabbiani: ce ne dovrebbero essere perchè sulle coste vivono tanto sui rifiuti. Quindi dovrebbero essere sempre presenti vicino agli insediamenti umani.
2 - Uccelli costieri: la mia idea è che l'habitat non è adatto. Spiaggia di ghiaia di origine vulcanica che, a mio avviso, potrebbe essere particolarmente povera di invertebrati che rappresentano la dieta di tali uccelli. Questo dovrebbe essere valido lungo tutta la costa del Golfo di Policastro e anche piú a sud mentre a nord le spiaggie sono sabbiosse e piú ampie.
3 - Uccelli costieri: semplicemente l'habitat è troppo disturbato perchè le spiaggie sono coperte da turisti, e disturbate dalle attività relative, per parecchi mesi all'anno.
4 - Uccelli costieri: combinazione di 2 e 3.
